About Exit Lab
Exit Lab LLC is an independent company that provides educational tools, owner-readiness content, and a starting point for exploring potential next steps. Exit Lab is a lead-generation and deal-origination platform. It is not a broker, valuation or appraisal provider, quality-of-earnings provider, lender, legal advisor, or tax advisor.
An Exit Score or other directional output is educational. It is not a formal valuation, appraisal, offer, certification, financing approval, or diligence conclusion. Owners should review the assumptions and discuss their circumstances with appropriately qualified professionals.
Partner network and independent choice
Exit Lab maintains a network of independent buyers and advisors. Every partner in the network is a separate company from Exit Lab. No partner owns or operates Exit Lab. No partner receives preferential routing or common branding through Exit Lab.
Potential partners are considered according to the owner's objectives and preferences, relevant experience, geography, size fit, service need, capacity, and other verified fit factors. A proposed introduction does not require the owner to engage a partner.
Introductions require separate approval
Completing a scan, requesting a service email, subscribing to research, or opening a calendar does not authorize a buyer or advisor introduction. Before an introduction, Exit Lab requests the owner's separate approval for the named recipient or clearly defined recipient set, the information to be shared, the purpose, and the likely communication channels. Any applicable compensation disclosure is presented as part of that proposed introduction.
For a proposed buyer or advisor introduction, Exit Lab requires the owner's specific approval before sharing owner or company identity, direct contact information, exact private financials, or other details that could identify the owner. Human review is required for a routing recommendation and introduction. The owner can decline a proposed introduction. Service providers process information as described in the applicable privacy notice and request permissions; an introduction approval is separate from that processing.
Communications and privacy
Service email, marketing email, phone contact, SMS, and buyer-introduction approval are separate choices. An educational result or service request does not create permission for unrelated outreach. Professional engagements
Any professional engagement is governed by the owner's agreement with the selected provider. Exit Lab's educational output does not determine a provider's professional qualifications or regulatory status. Owners should review the proposed provider, scope, terms, and disclosures before deciding whether to proceed.
